RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

OUR WEAPONS OF WAR  By Pastor Chris  _*(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal*_ (man-made) _*, but mighty THROUGH GOD to the pulling down of strong holds (2 Corinthians 10:4).*_   The weapons of our warfare are mighty through the Holy Spirit to the pulling down of fortresses of darkness: mental, physical, intellectual, or financial fortresses. When fortresses are built against God’s work, God’s house, or the ministry of the Gospel, we deploy our weapons!  Not many Christians realize that we’re at war; the Bible tells us to “war a good warfare” (1 Timothy 1:18). Our theme verse isn’t talking about the weapons of Jesus’ warfare, but “our warfare.” Thanks be unto God we have weapons! One of them is what the Apostle Paul called _*“...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”*_ (Ephesians 6:17).  That sword of the Spirit is the same thing Daniel referred to when he said _*“A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him...”*_ (Daniel 7:10)....

SO AS YOU LAUNCH OUT TODAY,  DETERMINE TO  MAKE IMPACT AND POSITIVELY AFFECT YOUR GENERATION AND SO SHALL IT BE IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.  Always remember, to stay safe and be saved genuinely as you DWELL IN THE LORD AND LET THE LORD DWELL IN YOU.  Good morning and blessed day ahead.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY 15TH APRIL 2021. THEME: DIVINE FAVOUR: WHAT IT DOES.

MEMORISE: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.        Psalm 5:12 READ:  Esther 5:1-3 1Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house. 2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. 3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom. TODAY'S WORD WITH JOEL & VICTORIA OSTEEN

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you. (1 Peter 4:12, NKJV) *FAITH IN THE MIDDLE* It’s easy to have faith at the start—when your baby is born, or you marry that beautiful girl, or you start a business, it’s exciting. It’s also easy to have faith at the end—when you can see the finish line, you’ve fought the good fight, and now the dream is in sight. The challenge is having faith in the middle—when it’s taking longer than you thought, when you don’t have the funds, and when it’s dark and difficult. In the middle is where most people are tempted to give up. But God never promised that we would reach our destiny without opposition, without disappointments, without things we don’t understand. Instead He says not to think it strange when these things come against us. That means to not get upset because somebody did you wrong, or because the business slowed, or because your child takes a wrong turn. God is still on the throne. S...

THE WORD FOR TODAY BY BOB & DEBBY GASS - TURN YOUR LOSS INTO GAIN (1)

Judges 11:1 NKJV Jephthah was the illegitimate son of a man called Gilead. His mother was a prostitute. He grew up in the household of Gilead's other legitimate sons who later chased him away. "'You will not get any of our father's inheritance,' they said" (v. 2 NLT). So he ended up living in a cave. While there, he took a band of misfits and rebels and developed them into a great army. When the Ammonites threatened Israel, the elders turned to him for help. "But Jephthah said to them: 'Aren't you the ones who hated me and drove me from my father's house? Why do you come to me now when you're in trouble?' 'Because we need you,' the elders replied. 'If you lead us in battle against the Ammonites, we will make you ruler over all the people of Gilead'" (vv.7-8 NLT). Not only did Jephthah lead them to victory, he's named with honour in the Bible along with people like Abraham, Moses, and David. His life is rich wit...
